The Pathway Strategy brings these pieces together. Through a project-specific review, I assess the current position, consider relevant site opportunities and constraints, identify important questions and risks, and recommend a direction for the project.
The result is a practical roadmap you can use to guide discussions with your designer and builder, make informed decisions and move forward with greater confidence.

The Pathway Strategy is a standalone service. You are not committed to further consulting.

The fee covers the agreed Pathway Strategy engagement and is paid in full before work begins. It is not a deposit or credit towards later consulting.

The Pathway Strategy provides a roadmap for your project. It does not include ongoing energy modelling, continuous technical review as the design develops, or project delivery.
The Strategy does not include ongoing PHPP modelling, continuous technical review or project delivery.
If further support would be useful, we can consider the appropriate scope separately. This may involve selected parts of the project or support across several stages, depending on what your project needs.
Before any further work begins, you will receive a separate Project Delivery Proposal setting out the agreed scope, responsibilities, timing and fees.
You can then decide how you would like to proceed.

Questions people often ask
Do i need to commit to passive house certification to work with you?
No. Some projects use Passive House principles without seeking formal certification. Others aim to meet the applicable certification criteria.
The right direction depends on your priorities, project and what is achievable.
IS IT TOO LATE TO TALK IF MY DESIGN IS ALREADY UNDERWAY?
Not necessarily. The starting point is to understand what has already been decided, what work is sufficiently developed and which decisions remain open.
The aim is to identify where further review would be valuable, not to repeat work unnecessarily.
HOW DO YOU WORK WITH MY ARCHITECT OR BUILDER?
I work alongside your architect, designer and builder—not instead of them. My role is to provide specialist building-performance input, clarify relevant decisions and help identify responsibilities and areas requiring further attention. Your existing professionals retain their respective roles.
Is the Pathway suitable for renovations?
It can be, particularly where you are planning a substantial renovation and want to improve comfort, air quality and energy performance. Existing buildings bring different constraints and opportunities, so the appropriate scope depends on your home and what you hope to achieve.
Does the Pathway Strategy include ongoing technical support?
No. The Strategy is a standalone review and roadmap. Ongoing modelling, design review, construction support and other specialist services are considered separately where they are appropriate for the project.
What if I decide not to engage you for further work?
That is entirely fine. You can use the Strategy to inform your decisions and discussions with your existing project team. Any further engagement is a separate decision.
